I Spy Something New!

We've been keeping some things under wraps... sorry about that! But it's finally time to reveal a whole new range of beautiful goodies:

~ WOODEN NECKLACES ~

Yes, that's right, ladies and gents, we're branching out (pun totally intended...). Our new range of necklaces include gorgeous beads made of beech, juniper and ash, alongside 100% organic cotton crochet beads.

Why? I hear you ask. Well, the lovely Emma from Cherub Chews has decided, after a lot of thought, tears and back & forth, to close down her small business in order to spend more time with her little family.

Finding a new owner for a business you have grown from the ground up is never an easy decision, so I was delighted when Emma approached me to take over from her and incorporate the wooden necklaces into Pebbles & Lace (something I'd been considering for ages before this opportunity arose!). Well, it was definitely an easy yes from me!

Some of you may know that Cherub Chews have been market leaders in wooden teething necklaces for a long time now. Over the years, Emma has put in a great deal of time and effort into sourcing wooden and crochet beads from sustainable sources, as well as ensuring that all components and necklace designs comply to EU safety standards.

The eco-friendly, sustainable ethos will be carried on and nurtured here at Pebbles & Lace, alongside maintaining the strict safety standards. To all Cherub Chews fans out there, rest assured that you will be in safe hands. I cannot wait to get designing some new combinations for you!

A word from Emma

"I write this today with a heavy heart. Over the last five years, both myself, my family and my business have grown. It started as an idea in my kitchen and has since grown to the full time job it is now. My intent was to have a small business that would fit around myself, my life and my family, so I could be at home and experience everything with my children, but Cherub Chews has grown so much that we now fit around it. Due to this and other commitments, we have we decided to sell Cherub Chews.

We wanted the products to still be available, but couldn’t continue as we were. So, the lovely and amazing Sarah from Pebbles & Lace has decided to take on Cherub Chews in everything but the name. Our products will live on and continue to be available but will now be made by her and branded as such; they will remain as eco-friendly as they have always been.

There will be a slight delay in shipment whilst waiting for new packaging to arrive. This is already in the works, so it shouldn't be too long now.

Over the next few weeks, I will be working on new colour combinations and some new designs; applying that Pebbles & Lace twist that you know and love. These will be released in time for the Christmas rush!
