Hello & Welcome!

Here at Pebbles & Lace, we design and hand make silicone fiddle necklaces which are perfect for teething, breastfeeding, babywearing… or for when you just want to wear a piece of stylish, baby-friendly jewellery. We create stylish and safe products that will keep your baby amused, happy and comfortable, with the added bonus of you looking amazing.

Pebbles & Lace silicone necklaces are designed for parents to wear, but made for babies to interact with. These necklaces are absolutely perfect for baby to chomp on whilst teething or as a distraction whilst breastfeeding or babywearing (far preferable than having little fingers twiddling with your hair, nose, mouth…!).

Our necklaces make a perfect gift for new mothers, baby showers, mum friends who need a touch of glamour and a moment of peace… or just as a guilt-free treat for yourself.

Our Story:

It didn’t take long for my husband and I to learn that babies grab absolutely anything that they can reach… and whatever they do manage to grab goes straight into their mouths! After a few broken necklaces and close calls, I gave up on wearing jewellery and felt like something was always missing. It was through the babywearing community that I discovered fiddle necklaces; I bought a few to match my wraps and carriers & fell in love with the concept, but not particularly the designs available.

Into the mix was thrown our daughter’s first tooth sprouting and my fingers being constantly chewed on. During times of teething, the best medicine for her seemed to be endless cuddles and chewing on me, so I became determined to find a solution that suited everyone (the cuddles were wonderful, the chewing not so much!).

I continued to search for the perfect teething necklace, but realised that they just weren't 'me'. So after a couple of glasses of wine and a good catch up with my wonderful friends, Pebbles & Lace was born.

And wow, it’s been an amazing venture to enjoy alongside the marvellous adventure of parenting. My necklaces have solved all sorts of troubles: soothing teething pain, diverting scratchy hands during breastfeeding, providing a distraction when babywearing and during flights to name a few.

While I can never claim to be the inventor of teething jewellery, I like to think that I have created a new style of design-led teething necklaces, all lovingly handmade right here in the UK. I continually strive to create original designs that stand out from the crowd.

If you find something you like the look of but it's just not quite right for your needs, please just send us an email (info@pebblesandlace.com) and we are happy to quote for a custom design. Custom designs do not incur an additional fee over the price of similar products. We can make necklaces to match your carriers, blankets, dresses, or anything else you can think of.

Pebbles & Lace are based in Wokingham, UK, but ship everywhere within the UK in 1-3 business days. European and worldwide shipping available.
